How your book is made
Your print edition isn't sitting in a warehouse. It's printed for you after you order, by our production partner, and then mailed. That's why it takes longer than a book from a big retailer — and why we'd rather tell you the real timeline than a hopeful one.
Printing time
Your book is printed and prepared within 3–5 business days of your order.
Delivery time, from the day it's printed
- US: 8–12 business days
- Canada: 10–14 business days
- UK & Europe: 10–14 business days
- Australia & NZ: 10–20 business days
- Rest of world: 10–25 business days
In practice, most US orders arrive about two to three weeks after ordering, door to door. These are estimates, not guarantees, and weather, customs, and carrier delays can extend them.
Order tracking
Once your order ships, a tracking number is emailed to you.
A note on tracking, because this worries people and it shouldn't. Your book travels part of the way with one carrier and is then handed to the postal service for the last stretch. During that handover, tracking often shows "Awaiting Item" for several days, as though nothing is happening. It is. Nothing has gone wrong. There's no need to write to us unless it's still stuck a week later — and if it is, we'll sort it out.
Shipping costs
Calculated at checkout based on your location and selected method.
Discreet packaging
Print editions ship in plain, unmarked packaging with a neutral sender name. Nothing on the outside indicates what's inside.
Digital orders
The digital guide is delivered by email within minutes of purchase, to the address you provide at checkout. No shipping applies.
If it hasn't arrived, check your spam or promotions folder first — that's where it usually is. If it still hasn't turned up, email info@silentechoes.shop and we'll resend it.
The Long Watch membership
The Long Watch is delivered entirely by email. Nothing is shipped as part of it and no shipping charges apply.
Customs and duties
International orders may be subject to customs duties and taxes, which are the responsibility of the customer.
Delays
Delivery times can vary with high demand, customs processing, or carrier issues. If your order is meaningfully past the window above, write to us — we'd rather hear from you than have you wondering.
